I am back from Japan and have finally ended my whirlwind summer around the world. I just picked up my orientation packet and am currently sitting in the Winter Garden (aka lobby) of the Ross Business School, catching up on all the missed emails from the past 2 weeks.
There’s a lot to write about from Japan, but I’d like to start with a photo essay that one of the many amazing people I travelled with composed for Guernica. He shared this with me as we sat on our many bus rides between meetings and discussed how our lives have been changed by Rwanda and its people. His words were so eloquent and it captured the very essence of what it felt like to be amongst Rwanda’s past and future. I hope that you are moved and will continue to remember those that have experienced war and countries that are currently in conflict.
Happy Reading!
